The little thing add up. Not to the cost of the stay, but to the value perceived. In some hotels I frequent not only am I assigned the “same” room, they pull the Internet cable to it, give me full pipe access (100 megs) and make sure the alarm clock is not still set for the last guest. Those touches are intangible.
